Thanksgiving 2008

Sophia had a good Thanksgiving. She enjoyed the turkey, gravy, stuffing, green bean casserole and the rolls. It was a relaxing day. She loved dressing up in her pretty dress.

November 2, 2008 Providence Children's Museum

We took Sophia to the Providence children's museum for the first time. She had so much fun. Her absolute favorite exhibit was the water room. I knew that would be her favorite, so we saved it for last.

She climbed onto this and was waving at Mark saying "Hi Dada". It was adorable.

She LOVED this cow! Other than the water room, this was probably her favorite thing. She did want to get off it and everytime we moved on to something new, she kept running back to it saying "The cow, the cow!". She loves her animals.
She had a blast in the little kids sections. She climbed this all by herself, over and over and over...

Sophia was terrified of this chair. As you can see she has a death grip on my neck.

Daddy's Girl

I think Mark liked this exhibit more than Sophia.

Halloween 2008

Sophie was Tinkerbell this year and loved the costume. She still wears it around the house a lot. We had her Halloween pictures taken at Sears and they came out so cute! We had to go have them taken on 2 different nights because Sophia was not cooperative..... she was running around the room, not wanting to sit, pulling up the backdrops.... a total nightmare. We finally had the manager get her interested and distracted long enough to get some cute shots.

Sophia loved Halloween again this year. By the third house we went trick or treating at she was a pro. She walked the neighborhood holding her bag and wanted to go up every driveway. She loved climbing everyone's stairs and tried to go into everyone's houses.

We were happy that Mark go to join us for round 2 of trick or treating later that night after he got out of work. Sophia loved showing off for Daddy.

Professional Pics

I love this one- I was tickling her knees to get her to laugh.

Halloween night- she loved playing with the candy, but did not like to eat it. She had a few licks of a lolipop and a bite of a hershey bar. She's not a sweet eater.

October 18, 2008- Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

We took Sophia to the Corn Maze and Hayride in Portsmouth. She loved running around in the corn maze. Thankfully we had a map so we didn't get lost. Mark and I are notorious for getting lost- we even got lost on our way to the corn maze. lol.

Anyway, Sophia loved the hayride. We kept driving by fields of cows and she was yelling "Cow! Moo, Moo!" I think that she's looking at the cows in the picture of the 3 of us.

Sophie picked out her own pumpkin.

Priceless!
Then, she decided that she was terrified of pumpkins when we got back on the hay ride.

Sophia Style

Sophia has what we like to call "Sophia Style". She loves dressing up in the weirdest outfits. She picks them all out herself and brings them to me to help her put them on. Her favorite is a Tigger costume. She would wear it day and night if I let her.

A sampling of "Sophia Style"

Weekend at Nana and Papa's house

We stayed at my parents house while they went to Las Vegas for their anniversary. Sophia had a blast with Auntie Courtney for 4 whole days!

One night she was really quiet for a little while so we went in to the kitchen and found Sophia eating Courtney's supper! The plate was full of french fries when Courtney left the room and as you can see she ate a ton of them. I love her face in this picture. She knows she got caught. LOL!
Courtney asking her what she did.
